Ross Pino, a talented artist, was born and raised in Albuquerque, New Mexico. His upbringing was marked by challenges, growing up with two younger brothers and parents struggling with alcohol and drug addiction, which led to a sense of instability from an early age. Despite this, at the age of 13, he discovered skateboarding, which became a transformative outlet for him to express himself and live an independent, unique lifestyle.
Within the skate scene, Ross found a new sense of family, inspiring a strong appreciation for fashion and cultivating his distinctive style. However, it was when he picked up a paintbrush and can of paint that he discovered his true passion. An instant obsession took hold, and from that moment on, he devoted himself to art.
As a self-taught artist, Ross had no predefined style to follow. Initially, he began drawing and painting skulls, often accompanied by his daughter. Throughout his artistic journey, he became fascinated with juxtaposing light and darkness, good and evil, and exploring the duality of life. Incorporating numerical synchronicities that held personal significance, Ross’s work delves into deep and mysterious themes.
While his art may appear dark at times, Ross sees himself as a conceptual artist, weaving secret messages and spiritual elements throughout his pieces. His artistic goal is to encourage people to rediscover their inner child and find healing from false identities that can burden their daily lives.
Ross Pino’s primary focus is on conceptualizing the awakening process. Through his art, he narrates the stories of life and death, good and evil, and the inherent duality of the world. His ultimate objective is to liberate individuals from negative mindsets and destructive thought patterns, guiding them towards embracing their fullest and most elevated versions of themselves. Through his powerful artistic expressions, Ross aims to inspire personal growth, transformation, and liberation within his audience.
